Mavens Overview

Serendipity 3 is located on the Strip, in front of Caesars Palace. The whimsically colored awnings set the tone for this transplant from New York City. The menu items have cutesy names like, Summer Bries or oxymoronic ones like Frozen Hot Chocolate. The $1,000 Sundae holds the record for most expensive dessert, its that type of restaurant, anything for a little extra PR buzz.

Speaking of PR Buzz or just Buzz in general, there doesn't seem to be much for Serendipity 3, just some shills working overtime, look to the usual suspects.

Perhaps the best-known treat you’ll find at Serendipity 3 is the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, an indulgent concoction blending 20 different kinds of chocolate into an icy, rich cocoa flavor.

You have to try the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity 3. So good.

The frozen hot chocolate seems overrated,

If you’re a high-roller, dip your spoon into the golden opulence sundae, which is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive dessert! The foot-tall sundae is served in a crystal goblet and comes with five scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream, gold leaf, rare Venezuelan chocolate and exotic fruits.

For a truly over-the-top dessert, there’s the Golden Opulence Sundae. Available for $1,000, this is the Guinness World Record holder for “most expensive dessert.” It’s five scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream, rare chocolates made from Venezuelan cocoa beans, exotic fruits and 23-karat edible gold leaf.

My husband and I thought we would split a piece of cheesecake since we weren't that hungry. It took 4 of us to finish it. It was wonderful! It was like going to cheesecake heaven......forget about those heavy cheesecakes that sink to the bottom of your stomach! This one is fluffy, smooth, creamy and heavenly!

It was long. Like double length of a regular hot dog. Also probably the most expensive hot dog I ever had. But at the same time, it was one of the tastiest hot dogs I ever had. I just loved it. This homemade bun had a rich buttery flavor. I couldn't get enough. We shared this time, but next time, I'm gonna eat it all by myself!
